The Pintail Youth Ranch (PYR) is a Dallas-based organization dedicated to providing important recreational, social, and learning experiences for financially or socially disadvantaged male youths from single-parent households. Founded in 1999, the ranch is inspired by the founders' appreciation of the great outdoors and the mutual respect for the lessons it can teach.

Qualified in the year 2000 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our goal is to teach these youths to be productive, capable and confident individuals.

It is the founders' belief that providing positive, team-oriented experiences in a rural, outdoors environment will foster a new sense of value that our ranchers could not get elsewhere.
